Getting started with Hypnotherapy

To begin with, I always prefer to have some form of contact with prospective Hypnotherapy clients prior to them booking an appointment, although this isn't compulsory. This can take place in person, or via telephone, Skype, email and text. It is natural for you to have questions regarding Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis, and I am happy to answer these either in person at our first session, or prior to arranging an appointment.

It is preferable to use telephone, Skype or face to face contact, rather than email or text, as these methods offer potential clients a chance to get a real feel for how Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis could help them. It is of course understandable that someone suffering with certain forms of anxiety may struggle with these types of communication, so please make contact in a format that best suits you.
When dealing with clients that come to my Lakeside clinic in York, North Yorkshire, where possible I like to use an outside location. The setting is private, tranquil and extremely relaxing. When the weather dictates, my clinic is a superb substitute. This space has a patio door onto the garden and from the comfort of a sumptuous electric leather recliner, you can relax as you look out upon the garden.
I also run a second clinic, where I conduct Hypnotherapy sessions at the fantastic Redmayne Lodge Therapy Centre, 2 Park Gate, Strensall, York, YO32 5YL, North Yorkshire.
For those with mobility issues or other issues that would make coming to either of my clinics difficult, home visits can of course be carried out should you prefer.
Hypnotherapy sessions last anywhere between 45 and 90 minutes, this depends upon the type of treatment required with initial sessions generally being the longer. Typically I only see three or four clients per day, so you will never find a session coming to an end abruptly.
